The Evolution of Innovation: The New Tesla Model 3

Tesla has introduced EVs to the mainstream, and the manufacturer continues to shine, even in increasingly competitive market for EVs. The automaker has always pushed boundaries and has been a trailblazer in this space, and new Model 3 is a testament that this pattern continues to this day. Newly released Tesla Model 3 is a prime example of brilliant, yet efficient design that is going to once again re-define standards for all electric vehicles on the market. So far, the new Tesla Model 3 is only available in Europe, Australia, and certain markets in Asia. This is understandable, and probably the result of faster and more efficient production lines in Gigafactory Shanghai. Tesla is not available in the US, and we don’t even know when it will become available. We also can not predict what it’s price is going to be. We can, however, study the car based on prototypes from Chinese factory, and look at prices in Europe and Asia and try to guess the price of Model 3 that is yet to...

Comparing Emissions: Gasoline Cars vs Electric Vehicles

Effects of climate changing are becoming more apparent every day. It’s up to every one of us to do what we can to change the course of climate change, as well as the wealthier  to stop excessive emissions from private jets. Most of the population in the USA accepts that climate change is caused by human actions, and it’s up to us to do something. Exploring options for sustainable transportation is a big step towards doing our part to stop polluting the air and live in a cleaner, healthier world. Electric vehicles are a big topic of discussion, and sometimes contention. There are plenty of skeptics who raise viable arguments against sustainability of EVs. In this article, we want to represent arguments on both sides and try to compare environmental footprint of vehicles with internal combustion engines vs electric cars. In the last few years, researchers have been working to measure the extent to which EVs can be solution to our problems. This article will be a summary ...

Behind the Wheel of an Electric Vehicle: A First-Hand Experience

Electric vehicles have changed transportation in more ways than one. Car ownership is a very popular and practical concept, so it is unlikely to go away anytime soon. That is why we need electric vehicles to fill the void between public systems that are excellent for navigating between and within cities with little environmental footprint and car ownership that allows individuals to go anywhere whenever they want. With EVs, individual car ownership is not as damaging to our environment as it is now. Electric vehicles have seen immense development year after year, but in many ways they still fall behind cars with internal combustion engine. The main disadvantage is inconvenience of having to recharge your car once in several hundred miles / kilometers. ICEs can travel much longer distances, and require only minutes to refuel. One area where EVs have an advantage is driving experience. Teslas are famous for their powertrain, and generally amazing driving experience. In this art...
